The Brandywine tomato plant has large potato-leaved foliage and bears large pink beefsteak-shaped fruit. The plant can get to 9 feet and the fruit can get to 24 oz.
Brandywine has been described as having a “great tomatoey” flavor. Others have called it a beautifully sweet tomato that is offset by a wonderful acidity.

Cosmonaut Volkov (Heirloom)

Cosmonaut Volkov is one of the best home garden tomato varieties. Named after a Russian cosmonaut who died in service of his country. A awesome fresh eating beefsteak type heirloom from the Ukraine. It is known for reliably producing tomatoes in cool soil and cool summers. Cosmonaut Volkov produces medium to large 8-12 oz fruits, with true old fashioned tomato flavor, a perfect blend of sweet and tart, with a rich complexity.   80 Days. Indeterminate.



Better Boy

Better Boy (Hybrid)
The Better Boy variety of tomato has been in existence for more than 50 years and is a Guinness record holder for amount of fruit produced from a single plant (342 pounds). The fruit grows from an indeterminate plant and is about 12 ounces, typically ripening in 72 days. Due to the high yield of tomatoes, it is recommended that Better Boy varieties be sturdily staked in the garden.
One person writes, “Better Boy was definitely an improvement – held up better in the hot summer, more consistent crop (for Big boy, had extremes of large and small, Better boy had large and medium sized tomatoes). I noticed that Better Boy had less of a core than Big Boy.

Big Beef  (Hybrid)
This is an All-American Selection Award-winning tomato.  Extra-large, mostly blemish-free fruit and extra high yields. Big Beef matures within 73 days of transplant and has high resistance to many major diseases that affect tomatoes. Plants are healthy, vigorous, and indeterminate, and they need to be staked.

Celebrity (VFFNT) (Hybrid)
Celebrity Tomatoes are a 1984 All-America Selections (AAS) award winner.
The variety established a new standard in tomato hybrids: multiple disease-resistance. Celebrity’s got more disease-resistance than any other award-winning tomato. Just look at the list of diseases it’s bred to withstand: tobacco mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt races 1 and 2, root knot nemotodes, cracking.

Hamson (DX 52-12)    (Hybrid)
Dr. Alvin Hamson, developed the DX52-12 tomato, specifically for Utah’s climate for the Campbell Soup company. Great canning tomato.
